Shopify

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.


All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

Order Editing

If you choose to self-service order edits at the end of checkout, Order Editing will receive a copy of your order to facilitate the changes. Your order information is automatically deleted 24 hours after initiating the edit. Choices About How We Use and Disclose Your Information

We strive to provide you with choices regarding the personal information you provide to us. We have created mechanisms to provide you with the following control over your information: 

  • Tracking Technologies and Advertising. You can set your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of this site may then be inaccessible or not function properly.   • Promotional Offers from Equip. If you do not wish to have your contact information used by Equip to promote our own or third parties' products, services, or the Website, you can opt-out by following the instructions included in every e-mail sent to you via the “Unsubscribe” or other similar link or by sending us an email stating your request to hello@equipfoods.com. If we have sent you a promotional email, you may send us a return email asking to be omitted from future email distributions. This opt-out does not apply to information provided to Equip as a result of a product purchase, warranty registration, product service experience or other transactions.

  • Text Message Marketing. For more information about how to opt out of Equip’s Mobile Messaging Program, please see the section labeled “Mobile Messaging Program Privacy Policy,” below.

We do not control third parties' collection or use of your information to serve interest-based advertising. However, these third parties may provide you with ways to choose not to have your information collected or used in this way. You can opt out of receiving targeted ads from members of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") on the NAI's website.

Please note that our Website is not configured to accept and respond to web browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals. As such, if you would like to opt-out of certain specific cookies or automatic tracking technologies, you will need to do so by exercising one of the other methods described in this privacy policy.

Nevada residents who wish to exercise their sale opt-out rights under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A may submit a request to this designated address: hello@equipfoods.com. However, please know we do not currently sell data triggering that statute's opt-out requirements.

Accessing and Correcting Your Information

Your California Privacy Rights

California's "Shine the Light" law (Civil Code Section § 1798.83) permits users of our Website that are California residents to request certain information regarding our disclosure of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. Non-U.S. Visitor’s Rights

The owner of the Website is based in the State of Delaware in the United States. We provide the Website for use only by persons located in the United States. Non-U.S. persons visiting from other countries should be aware that, by visiting the Website, you are agreeing to be subject to U.S. privacy laws rather than the laws of your home country.
