Functional Protein Cookies

These are a must make - each cookie is loaded with 12g of bioavailable protein thanks to Equip beef protein powder and grassfed collagen as a replacement for some of the flour in the recipe. These additions ensure you’re going to feel satiated unlike most baked goods, all while supporting your muscles, hormones, joints, and ligaments.

On the topic of flour, this flour base is organic sprouted oats for a better complex carb source than refined flour which also happens to be glyphosate-free and easier to digest due to the sprouting process.

 

 

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup hemp seeds
  • 1.5 cups organic sprouted oats
  • 2 scoops Equip clean protein powder
  • 1 scoop Equip collagen powder
  • 2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
  • 1 tsp aluminum-free baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 2 Pasture-raised eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tbsp raw/sprouted nut or seed butter of choice
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Mix everything in a large bowl until well combined

  2. Form into 12 cookies on a parchment lined baking sheet giving 2” between each cookie.

  3. Place in the oven at 350 for 14-16 minutes

  4. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before enjoying!

  5. Store extras in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

  6. Enjoy!
